Description of the collection
A collection of pamphlets on various aspects of 19th century medicine, medical practices, medical education, and the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The most common subject area is gynaecology. These pamphlets include over 100 19th century medical theses in Latin.
Provenance
By and large, the pamphlets come from the former Library of the Bristol Medico-Chirurgical Society. However, there is material from the Libraries of the Bristol Royal Infirmary, and the Bristol General Hospital.

Overwhelmingly English, with some items in French and German
